Neonatal ICU patients often require repeated use of diagnostic imaging to better manage their care. It is important that neonatal providers and nurses can accurately read their patient’s x-rays. This ability aids in making accurate diagnoses, and illustrating the placement of indwelling tubes, and lines. This presentation will describe basic radiographic terminology and discuss basic steps to reading an XRAY. In addition, this presentation will review common neonatal Chest x-ray findings and explore common neonatal abdominal x-ray results. Finally, this presentation will examine misplaced hardware in neonatal X-Rays.[/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=”Learning Objectives:” tab_id=”1623359665434-ef800d10-f316″][vc_column_text]Following this presentation, participants will be able to:[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Objective 1″ tab_id=”1623359665465-6c33ddb2-d6e1″][vc_column_text]Describe basic radiographic terminology[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Objective 2″ tab_id=”1623359765141-74fee623-95b4″][vc_column_text]Discuss basic steps to reading an XRAY[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Objective 3″ tab_id=”1623359903075-0e4e4282-1895″][vc_column_text]Review common neonatal CXR findings[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Objective 4″ tab_id=”1623456880435-e17d1aea-840b”][vc_column_text]Explore common neonatal KUB results[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Objective 5″ tab_id=”1623456930920-2f80cb0a-db38″][vc_column_text]Examine misplaced hardware in neonatal X-Rays[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Outline of Presentation:[/vc_column_text][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=”Objective 1: Describe basic radiographic terminology (10min)” tab_id=”1623360144256-4b5ec8c6-5c0a”][vc_column_text]
